So, you have placed your new Rugs Of Beauty rug order, or perhaps you would like to, and you are wondering about delivery arrangements. No problem, we are here to help to make the delivery process as smooth as possible. In today's blog post, we will look at all aspects of the all important final stage of your rug order - delivery.
When you are completing your order here at Rugs Of Beauty, you can supply delivery instructions for your order on the shopping cart page if you wish to. Simply click on the text below the products on your shopping cart page, which reads "Add a note to your order (If you would like your order to be left somewhere at your property, please click here to type this information)." - see the image below.
Once you place your order at Rugs Of Beauty, we will begin processing your order, usually the following business day. When this occurs, a unique courier consignment number is created for your rug, with all the details of your order entered into this consignment, including your name and contact details, delivery address, and any delivery instructions.
Consignment slips to attach to the rug are printed, then, your rug is picked, checked to make sure it is well packaged for transport, then labeled for courier pickup with consignment slips.
You will receive an email notification of your unique courier consignment, and the courier being used to deliver your order. We use the following couriers to deliver our rugs: Hunter Express, Couriers Please, Star Track Express, and Fastway.
It is normal for the courier tracking information to not show any information for your consignment initially. Shortly thereafter, information will start appearing, showing various scans, such as when the rug is picked up, delivered to the courier's depot, then finally when it is out for delivery with a local courier driver in your area.
At the final stage of the delivery process, when your order is out for delivery, and has been scanned on board your local courier driver's van or truck, you will receive an sms notification (if you have provided a mobile number in your order details), as well as an email notification, stating that your order is on board for delivery.
